Recalled - Baby Carriers Sold at Target
A baby carrier sold at Target and other stores has been recalled because the straps on the backpack can come loose.
The recall was announced Tuesday by Baby Trend and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission after at least one baby was injured after falling out of the pack.
Baby Trend said the carriers may be defective and it is possible the stitching on the strap of the carrier can loosen or detach, causing the carrier to shift.
The carriers were sold at Target and other stores from 2002 through November 2006 and cost about $50.
To see if your carrier is being recalled, check the metal frame for the numbers 2512 or 2592LX.
